When you request a mascot quote from Hogtown Mascots, we’ll need just a few bits of information to get started:
A picture, drawing, toy, or even just a vague idea of the kind of mascot you would like to have made.
A rough idea of your budget and deadline for your mascot.
Contact uswith this information. We will create a custom quote and drawing for your review and approval.
Once approved, Hogtown Mascots will require a 50% deposit and a signed copy of your quote to begin construction. When your deposit is received we will provide you with a password to log in to your personal client webpage where you can find pictures and video of your mascot through the construction process. Final payment is required before your costume is shipped to you.
This short video will give you a good overview of our mascot building process.
A variety of foams, fabrics, and plastics are commonly used to make our Mascots.
Mascot heads and feet are usually made using Esther, Etha, E.V.A., and Reticulated foams in addition to Vacuum formed plastics when budget and volume allows.
Inner mascot bodies are made using reticulated foam that is sandwiched between sporting mesh and given structure with flexible tubing.
A variety of fabrics are used for the final layer on your mascot depending on the design and budget, including: antron fleece, faux fur, and high quality cotton.
Mascot hands are usually padded and covered in the appropriate finishing fabric.
All of our mascot feet are given a thick rubber sole after being carved and finished in the appropriate fabric.
Your mascot will be ready to ship once you have approved a full photo rotation and/or movement video.
Your mascot will be packed with a detailed laundry instruction sheet as well as dressing instructions to ensure your mascot enjoys a long and wonderful life.
